Meet the Doctors

Dr. Charles Stone

Growing up in Lake Jackson, Texas, Dr. Charles Stone knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue a career in either the medical or dental field. He initially tried his hand in research but eventually discovered that he wanted to produce more immediate results than research could provide. Many of his father’s friends were dentists and seemed happy, so Dr. Stone decided to pursue dentistry.

It was during dental school that he chose to specialize in oral surgery. He liked that oral surgery allowed him to treat complex cases, such as facial traumas. After spending time in the army, Dr. Stone had a lot of experience with facial traumas and was attracted to the idea of being able to restore aesthetics, function, and form all at once. He enjoys that every day is different in the oral surgery specialty because every patient has unique needs that he is trained to address.

Dr. Brian Stone

Dr. Brian Stone was born and raised in Lake Jackson, TX. From a young age, Dr. Stone knew he wanted to pursue a career in the healthcare field. After college, he began looking into oral surgery, but he wasn’t completely convinced that it was the right path for him. When he chose dental school, he wanted to keep his options open so that he could pursue a career in anything — orthodontics, endodontics, or oral surgery. However, after doing an internship in the oral surgery department and seeing a child with broken facial bones treated, he realized oral surgery was the right path.

Dr. Stone finds his oral surgery career extremely rewarding because of the opportunities he gets to develop relationships with patients. He enjoys meeting new people and loves the chance to help them. Oral surgery has given him a broad skill set, which allows him to make a difference for patients with many different conditions.
