Our practice has two offices for your oral surgery needs in Monterey, CA, and Salinas, CA. Lewis and Lloyd maintain the highest licensure to provide in-office sedation and have extensive experience monitoring patients throughout surgery for the safest outcome. Meet the Doctors

Dr. Michael Lewis

Dr. Michael Lewis grew up in Burbank, CA and knew early on that he wanted to pursue a healthcare career. In fact, if he hadn’t decided to practice oral surgery, he would have probably gone back to school to earn his medical degree. While he began his career in general dentistry, he quickly found that the surgical side of the dental specialty was much more rewarding and challenging. He has practiced oral surgery exclusively for over 30 years and loves to practice the full scope of treatments in the OMS specialty.

Dr. Lewis began practicing in Monterey in 1987 and has since opened a location in Salinas to meet the growing oral health needs of the Monterey County area. He strives to make every patient feel like an individual and takes great pride in understanding the issues are hand so he can provide a solution that fully restores oral function and a confident smile.

Dr. Ryan Lloyd

Dr. Ryan Lloyd grew up in Seattle, WA, and was first exposed to oral surgery in the Navy while stationed in Everett, WA. During that time, he provided dental services to over 8,000 sailors and Marines and was taken under the wing of one of the oral surgeons on base. He quickly found oral surgery to be an extremely rewarding specialty and knew that he wanted to pursue a career that allowed him to make such a dramatic impact in the lives of his patients.

Dr. Lloyd joined the MOSA Oral Maxillofacial & Dental Implant Surgery team in 2009 and quickly became an integral part of our practice. He loves that oral surgery allows him to provide patients with a solution to a problem that they might have once thought wasn’t possible. Seeing his patient light up with confidence after treatment and smile with ease is one of the best parts of his job. Dr. Lloyd relentlessly pursues perfection in surgical techniques and patient care and wants every patient to know that he will hive 100% every time.
