Dr. Steven J. Hill and Dr. Robert B. Ioppolo are both licensed oral and maxillofacial surgeons with many years of experience. Meet the Doctors

Dr. Steven J. Hill

Dr. Steven Hill founded Hill & Ioppolo Oral and Facial Surgeons of Lubbock over 20 years ago with the simple goal of helping people. Ever since, he has dedicated his time to get to know his patients personally so he can provide Lubbock, TX, and the surrounding community with personalized, high-quality, and reliable care. Dr. Hill’s top priority is helping patients understand their options to they can make informed decisions and achieve optimal results. He believes in not just helping patients restore their oral health but doing so with a personal touch so that patients truly feel comfortable. He spends as much time as needed with patients, personally reviewing their condition and health history and discussing treatment with them.

In addition to his work at the practice, Dr. Hill also has staff privileges at Covenant Hospital. He is a very active member of the medical and dental communities here in Lubbock and the nation. As a member of the ADA’s Council on Dental Benefit Programs, Dr. Hill works with other dental experts to develop better dental benefit plans for patients. He is also a member of the Texas Dental Association, the South Plains District Dental Society, and other groups dedicated to improving organized dentistry. Dr. Hill also regularly participates in charitable events to provide care for people in need.

Dr. Robert B. Ioppolo

Dr. Robert Ioppolo was raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. From a young age, he was interested in dentistry, and during dental school, he found that surgery was a very rewarding and interesting specialty. After finishing his undergraduate degree in Lubbock, he finished his dental and oral surgery training through the Army Health Professions Scholarship Program and served for nine years of active-duty services and four years in the Army reserves before joining Hill & Ioppolo Oral and Facial Surgeons of Lubbock.

As an oral surgeon for active-duty soldiers, Dr. Ioppolo has experience with the full range of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures. He and his family moved back to Lubbock in 2014, and they are very happy to be a part of this community. Dr. Ioppolo regularly donates his time to provide care for patients in need at charitable events in the South Plains region. He strongly believes that serving people through oral and maxillofacial surgery is what he was meant to do. Dr. Ioppolo is incredibly passionate and committed to this practice and helping restore patients’ smiles. He makes sure to stay up to date on the latest techniques so that he can provide the best possible care to his patients — the same care he would want and provide for his own family.
